Update: Django Shoots First

There was some mis-communication and the wrong street date was posted and announced.

Ok... so this is a fairly pleasant mistake, as far as mistakes go.  Apparently the street date for Django Shoots First is November 10th, 2009... not November 24th.

We have the DVDs for our online store already in house and they look good.

Also, tomorrow is the street date for Gatling Gun, From the Orient with Fury, and The Man From Oklahoma.  Pre-orders are closed.  All who pre-ordered those films, your DVDs are on the way!

Django Shoots First pushed back

Our distributor had to push this title back to a different street date, November 24, 2009.

Existing Pre-orders

What this means for pre-orders is that we are asking each one if they want us to refund their money for this title -OR- if we can offer them a 2 USD refund as our way of showing our appreciation of their patience and understanding.

If we don't get a reply from someone by next Wednesday, we will just assume that they are willing to wait and we are going to refund them 2 USD through Paypal or Google Checkout (whichever they ordered through).

"New" Pre-orders

What this means for any pre-orders from today forward... not much really.  It will ship with the November 24th, 2009 release date in mind.  All pre-orders receive free shipping for all domestic (US) shipping and reduced shipping costs for all international orders.

Western Film Fair

Catch Rick and Enid at the convention, pick up the new cover of Sacramento there and get Michael Forest to sign it.

Rick and Enid are at the Western Film Fair in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  They have a few of our DVDs out and are taking pre-orders.  They are offering 16.95 + free shipping and handling for the four releases in October and we thought we would just pass it right onto the site as well.

They are sitting nearby Michael Forest and have the newly redesigned cover of Now They Call Him Sacramento.  We printed up a VERY limited run of them and Michael is there ready to sign them for your collection.

We also have 50 limited edition 18 x 24 inch posters of the front and back cover in pre-press form.  While you are there, try to snag one and get Michael to sign it.  If you can't make it down there and want to get one of these posters, drop an email to the DFI Store via the Contact Us page and Rick will be in touch.

Release Dates: Gatling Gun and three others

October 27th, 2009 is our street date for Gatling Gun, Django Shoots First, and the re-releases of The Man From Oklahoma and From the Orient with Fury

You can pre-order any or all of these DVDs on our store starting today.  Look for these great DVDs in your favorite retail store on October 27th, 2009.  If you want to make sure we get into your store, ask for the DVD by name and tell them to check out our website! (our distributor is ADA and any retail store can submit their orders on August 17th)
