Update: Django Shoots First

There was some mis-communication and the wrong street date was posted and announced.

Ok... so this is a fairly pleasant mistake, as far as mistakes go.  Apparently the street date for Django Shoots First is November 10th, 2009... not November 24th.

We have the DVDs for our online store already in house and they look good.

Also, tomorrow is the street date for Gatling Gun, From the Orient with Fury, and The Man From Oklahoma.  Pre-orders are closed.  All who pre-ordered those films, your DVDs are on the way!

Western Film Fair

Catch Rick and Enid at the convention, pick up the new cover of Sacramento there and get Michael Forest to sign it.

Rick and Enid are at the Western Film Fair in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  They have a few of our DVDs out and are taking pre-orders.  They are offering 16.95 + free shipping and handling for the four releases in October and we thought we would just pass it right onto the site as well.

They are sitting nearby Michael Forest and have the newly redesigned cover of Now They Call Him Sacramento.  We printed up a VERY limited run of them and Michael is there ready to sign them for your collection.

We also have 50 limited edition 18 x 24 inch posters of the front and back cover in pre-press form.  While you are there, try to snag one and get Michael to sign it.  If you can't make it down there and want to get one of these posters, drop an email to the DFI Store via the Contact Us page and Rick will be in touch.

Release Dates: Gatling Gun and three others

October 27th, 2009 is our street date for Gatling Gun, Django Shoots First, and the re-releases of The Man From Oklahoma and From the Orient with Fury

You can pre-order any or all of these DVDs on our store starting today.  Look for these great DVDs in your favorite retail store on October 27th, 2009.  If you want to make sure we get into your store, ask for the DVD by name and tell them to check out our website! (our distributor is ADA and any retail store can submit their orders on August 17th)

Older DVDs Clearance / Sale

We are phasing out a few of our older DVDs. I can't say WHEN any product(s) will be pulled and IF the product(s) will be re-released.

Over 50% off of 5 of our old releases until they are either out of stock or we choose to pull them to clear space in our warehouse for other projects.

I have no exact timeframe of when any product will be pulled, but it could be as early as a month or two.  We do not have plans to re-release all of these titles, and if we do re-release them, the will be at least 6 months before they are purchasable again.

The Man From Oklahoma

Word may be out by now, since we advertised it in our DVD of The Three Musketeers of the West, we WILL be re-releasing this film into stores.  It did well, and with the new (much, MUCH better artwork) it will be worth releasing into stores.  We projected it being out in Q3 2009, it will be out either late Q3 or sometime in Q4 of 2009 (as long as Ryko, our distributor, approves that is).

If you would like to see this film before then, now is a fantastic time to buy with the much reduced price.  You would also be helping us get a little extra money to put toward the re-release and clear out some MUCH needed room in our warehouse for the new DVDs we are getting in.
